The original has better cut scenes and the whole game's atmosphere is incredible. While I admire the incentive to make it brighter along with more vibrant colours, it can ruin parts and take away from the atmosphere of the game. The colours look more saturated in the remaster with Joker and the villains standing out among the crowd with their bright colours. The character models in the original look older with more wrinkles whereas the remaster makes them look kind of younger. The Bat's suit appears more damaged as you progress through return to arkham. This of course makes the character model seem more realistic. The characters look a lot better in the remaster, Gordon looks more bruised and tired. All of it looks more broken and destroyed.

Everything in the original looks more rough and messier, in a good way of course. In the remaster, it looks as though they've made the scenes brighter. As an example of atmosphere and lighting being better in the original I'd like to point out the scarecrow scenes. In the scene where you came out and had the view of the asylum from the cave, I much prefer the original since it seems a lot more akin to the style of the asylum with the colours looking better suited. The shadows in the return to arkham are more evident compared to those in the original as they look cleaner. A lot of the models look cleaner and more defined, with rain appearing on the bat's cape in the remastered. To add a spoiler tag write your comment within square brackets immediately followed by (/spoiler)ĭuring cut scenes I found the original better, the grittiness of the scenes swayed more to an asylum feel that they were going for. This subreddit allows for the reddit-standard spoiler tag. "Thank you theRevanchist11 for the awesome banner art!" Proof of employment, like an ID card, is an example of acceptable proof. It does not need to be an essay of who you are or a picture of yourself.
